Create an interesting title.

Provide a thorough review of a piece of technology/software that you use in your major or ideal career.

You will need to identify the piece of technology, its characteristics, features, benefits, flaws, and why this piece of technology is beneficial/essential towards your major/career.

Since this is a review, you may use first person point of view. Use I, me, my, and mine.

In formal writing of such papers, use simple, present tense verbs. This practice is known as being in the “literary present”.

Specific Instructions:

Thoroughly read Chapters 7, 19, 20, and 35in the Writing Today textbook before you attempt this assignment.

Follow one of the organization strategies (found on page 94) for your review.

Remember, you are not summarizing the piece of technology. Instead, you are analyzing how the piece of technology is constructed, its uses, any background information about the piece of technology/software, its benefits/flaws, and usefulness towards your major/career. You are balancing opinion with fact.
